The weekend looks fairly settled in most of the main centres but some of the rural areas may be impacted by showers, like eastern Northland, East Cape and the West Coast.
Two large tropical lows will drift past East Cape on Sunday and Monday bringing some rain or shower activity.
Next week high pressure rolls back for a time but we have another tropical low forming north of the country next week and it may become a tropical cyclone.
There may be another storm after that too. While no direct threat to NZ at this stage, these tropical lows are expected to alter the weather pattern around New Zealand.
