It’s the countdown to Christmas Day and in today’s video we give you the daily forecast right up until December 25th!
The week ahead will be “spring-like†with a mix of windier days, colder days and hot sunny weather too. On Tuesday a southerly arrives in the lower South Island with the lowest temperatures of the week.
This will drive in some rain to the West Coast too.
By Wednesday the southerly fades out over the North Island as a high briefly crosses the South Island.
Another cold front on Thursday will move into the South Island, weakening on Friday as it heads north.
The weekend looks fairly settled but a few isolated downpours are possible in the north and some rain on the West Coast.
As for Christmas Day – it’s looking hot in the east, a bit wet for some in the west and mild and dry for most others.
