Weather Video: Windier Week Ahead

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A series of low pressure systems will cross, or pass near, New Zealand this week bringing plenty of wind, rain and showers.

The rain will be mostly western focused while the strongest wind gusts will be in central and eastern areas of both islands.

Towards the end of the working week a moderate sized storm in the Southern Ocean will fuel a windy, cooler, weather pattern over the country – meaning this upcoming weekend will have daytime highs down five to 10 degrees on last weekend.
