High pressure continues to dominate the North Island, meaning a mostly dry, calm weekend is on the way for northerners.
In the South Island rain will slide into the West Coast, especially Sunday and into Monday – with a few spits making it over into the east.
Next week looks similar to this week – but the following week may see more in the way of sun/dry for wet parts of the South Island.
