More rain is coming for northern and western parts of the North Island today and more will spread nationwide overnight and into Friday morning – including dry parts of North Canterbury on Friday.
Three areas of low pressure are merging over New Zealand over the next 48 hours bringing more wet weather and some windy weather too.
Over the weekend we transition to more westerlies – which is the forecast for much of next week too.
