The long weekend is almost here and the forecast is looking fairly dry for most regions – but a deepening low in the Tasman Sea is spreading east and by Labour Day Monday clouds will be thickening with some rain developing.
The weekend starts off with a slight southerly change – making for a chilly Saturday morning for some places (especially if you’re in a tent!).
Warmer weather returns during Sunday and Monday.
