On a day where dairy farmers around New Zealand have received some bad news from Fonterra, a large low is set to cross New Zealand this weekend bringing some positive omens.
There will be a large mix of warm, sunny, weather – but also some solid downpours across the South Island and parts of the North.
It may not end the droughts completely, but it will be welcome as some rain and showers falls in the dry east.
A few more showers are likely next week, but then it’s looking fairly dry for the first week of April.
– On a side note, this will be the last Weather Video from the NZ Herald until mid-April – but all other news and forecast services on the site will remain the same.
