Weather Video – Snow’s on the way for Thursday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A large low pressure system is currently crossing the country and will clear New Zealand by the weekend.

This means more heavy showers, strong to gale winds and possibly a few isolated thunder and hail storms especially in northern and western areas.

Meanwhile, the lower South Island has a polar snap – with snow falling to a few hundred metres on Thursday or Friday AM.
