A low pressure system finally loses it’s oomph overnight taking away the stream of rain and showers we have had slowly passing over New Zealand for the past few days.
Just watch for the chance of thunderstorms about some western areas this afternoon / evening then again tomorrow conditions may become unstable again in the afternoon due to warming surface temperatures and plenty of residual moisture.
Cold blustery southwesterlies spread over both the South and North Islands on Wednesday then finally on Thursday conditions start to calm down as a ridge of high pressure moves in, just watch for clearing showers along the east coast of the North Island.
