Weather Video: NZ braces for Thunderstorms

> From the WeatherWatch archives

NZHerald.co.nz and Philip Duncan bring you the most indepth video around on the current stormy weather.

Today we look at where the worst of the thunderstorms will be (mostly western NZ between Taranaki and Kapiti) with thunderstorms spreading elsewhere up the west coast later today and overnight (including Auckland).

We have the latest on where the thunderstorms are (central Tasman Sea) and when we’ll finally see conditions easing (hopefully over the weekend).

The video is a little over 8 minutes (longer than usual) and shows what is likely to happen right up until Sunday.
