A cold front arrives across New Zealand on the first day of November – but the air behind it isn’t particularly cold and in fact will kick off several days of westerly quarter winds.
Rain looks focused on the West Coast while drier than average may return to the east.
The theme of westerly quarter winds means temperatures may shift around a bit from day to day but generally speaking nothing too extreme is in the short term forecast.
