The week ahead couldn’t be more different to last week with high pressure dominating (and not low pressure), light winds over gales, and sun and dry over cloud and rain.
In particular areas hit by the earthquakes are going to enjoy some of the most pleasant weather this week with highs in the mid to late 20s and mostly clear skies.
Even parts of Southland and Otago on Tuesday will be pushing closer to 30 degrees while in Auckland those annoying sou’west winds finally ease away.
