Last week the theme was afternoon thunderstorms and downpours, this week it’s all about temperature fluctuations which are spring-like and two lows which will bring more rain and showers.
Monday and Tuesday kick off mostly dry and certainly warmer than normal. Wednesday the South Island gets a big cool down and some wet weather. This wetter weather moves into the North Island for Thursday. By Friday another low will be crossing NZ will more wind and rain.
As for Christmas Day – we will lock in our first forecast tomorrow, Tuesday Dec 18, for now it looks like large areas of dry but a couple of showery areas in the very north and very south – so we’re taking another day to try and lock that in.
