If you’ve been wanting a big large high pressure system then you’ll be pleased with this forecast as a large Tasman Sea high rolls in this weekend and lingers for most of next week.
Most places are dry with sunny weather over the next few days although the sou’west flow along western NZ may produce a few cloudy areas. Next week light winds will affect most places but a low north east of the North Island may bring in some wet weather to regions like BOP and eastern Coromandel – but not yet locked in.
The main focus next week among the high pressure will be those daily afternoon downpours which are likely to flare back up again.
