A significant weather disrupter is moving into New Zealand this weekend creating heavy rain on the West Coast moving into the North Island’s western side by Sunday and Monday.
This warm, windy, mostly nor’west air flow from Aussie and the sub-tropics will push temperatures above normal for many regions for a time this weekend.
BUT – a cold snap is again coming and kicks off mainly nationwide next Monday and Tuesday, retreating to more southern areas by mid week.
NZ’s next big high is around next Friday or next weekend – one week from now – and still isn’t 100% locked in.
