After a wild week for some parts of New Zealand the good news this weekend is that conditions will be far more settled.
While a southerly change will move up the nation, dropping temperatures a little on Sunday south of Wellington, most places look dry – with just a few drizzle patches and isolated showers popping up around the nation.
No significant rain is forecast for the upper North Island – but we do take a look at a potential Tropical Cyclone in 7 to 10 days’ time

Yuk that cyclone looks rather nasty potentially. Couldbe more wind than rain maybe but it looks like a drought breaker.
I will keep watching those maps to see where it will head but either way it has damage potential.
