Weather Video: Big low does dance around NZ, windier and cooler by Sunday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A large low in the Tasman Sea will shift into the Pacific Ocean by the end of the week creating more changeable weather for NZ.

By the weekend, the first day of September (Saturday) looks fantastic with mostly mild and sunny weather in a number of regions.

But by Sunday, it all goes downhill as a big cold front and windy, colder, south to south west change sweeps in and goes nationwide by Monday. There’s a bit of a question mark hanging over next week but windy and cooler may be the theme for some.
