Weather Video: Big low coming to New Zealand—yep, more rain

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A decent sized low will be placed in the central Tasman Sea on Saturday and will move onto New Zealand later in the day and across Sunday and Monday.

The low will track across New Zealand slowly due to a large blocking high to the east. Rain on Sunday will be patchy and light for most areas, but it may become fairly widespread.

Some places, such as Nelson/Golden Bay area may have more than 100mm from this low. The low is weakening as it moves in, but here’s the latest from Philip Duncan.
