This week is dominated by high pressure which is slowly building. While Monday is a little windy with showers and colder air moving northwards, Tuesday looks more settled as high pressure builds.
Wednesday and Thursday also look mainly dry and settled nationwide.
However by Friday nor’west winds build over the lower South Island and this weekend strong to gale nor’westers move northwards to cover all of NZ along with heavy rain along the western coastline of both islands.
