A large high from the Tasman Sea is moving into the country for Friday and the weekend bringing mostly dry, settled weather.
In fact daytime highs may even become warmer than average in some places.
There will be some rain on the West Coast this weekend and perhaps a few isolated coastal showers here and there, otherwise mostly dry and fairly sunny for many parts of NZ through until next week, when the high parks itself east of the country encouraging a week of easterlies in the North Island and nor’easters in the South Island.
