Apart from a few coastal showers here and there the weekend is looking mainly dry and settled across New Zealand.

However rain moves up the West Coast on Sunday with winds building ahead of it (nor’westers).

Next week starts off mild – but severe gale nor’westers are possible south of Wellington – watch for possible wind warnings for next Tuesday.
