The next couple of days will feel like summer for some regions with sunny skies and daytime highs into the mid to late 20s.
Both Tuesday and Wednesday will see similar weather around the country with cloudiest weather in the north of New Zealand and sunniest, warmest in the south and south east.
By Thursday clouds thicken in both the north and west with rain moving into Fiordland and the West Coast later. By Friday a cold front crosses New Zealand. This weekend sees a mix of sun and wet weather, with Sunday much windier and cooler in the South Island (more spring like).
