After a week of similar weather we finally have some changes coming, for the North Island at least which has had a bit of a rough week.
Heavy rain in Hawke’s Bay will come to an end on Saturday then showers clear out to sea. High pressure grows by Sunday with most of NZ settled and dry.
Early next week a low will track over the upper half of the North Island. The jury is still out on whether or not this will create more heavy rain but with sub-tropical connections it does have that potential. One to watch, but hopefully will weaken. High pressure returns after that, for the most part.
