The situation in general looks calm and settled today – with warm, dry weather dominating the landscape ahead of a few days of more unsettled conditions…

There are no real risks to speak of anywhere in the country, other than some possible showers in northern parts of the North Island – though of course, being autumn, it won’t stay this way for long!

The place to be

They are probably the places to be every day, but Marlborough & Nelson look like getting the best of today’s weather – with sunny conditions, light winds and temperatures in the mid to high 20s – a typical late summer day for this part of the world.
