Weather risks and the place to be on Monday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

As far as serious weather risks go, it’s all clear on the horizon for now – as a weakening front sits over the South Island.

Morning showers will clear on the West Coast and Canterbury, though patches of drizzle could hang around in parts of Canterbury.

The Place to Be

Definitely the Bay of Plenty.
It’s set to be a cracker in the BOP, sunny with light southwesterlies, and only a bit of high cloud (which will clear) to note.
Some places in the Bay could get close to 30 degrees too, so a great day to hang out the washing or take the dog foran afternoon walk!
