NORTHEASTERLIES STRONG ON WED / THU

Later on Wednesday and into Thursday expect a strong east to northeasterly airflow over New Zealand, eastern parts of the country feel the winds more on Thursday.

The upper North Island especially sees a reasonable going over by these easterlies. We don’t expect any major issues with these winds but any marine activities may have to be put off.
