SOME SNOW ABOVE 1000m?

Some cold upper air moves over the South Island on Wednesday through to Thursday, this may lead to some snow down to 1000m about the Main Divide. Amounts to this level will likely be minimal to non existent then higher up accumulations will be more noticeable.

A sign perhaps that summer is on it’s final legs, lets hope for an Indian summer with a bit more rain for the eastern South Island to come.
