Sunny weather has returned and the country is warming up – although inland parts of both islands woke to a frosty reception this morning!

The sun is back however, with Otago and Canterbury especially bright today – as high pressure is coming in to influence the country’s weather heading into the weekend.

Overnight lows in the next couple of nights will lift higher, so it will be warmer than we’ve seen the last couple of nights and mornings anyway.
