Frosts fade and rain clouds grow as a northerly wind flow pushes down across New Zealand over the next few days.

Wednesday looks to be frost free as most of NZ is caught up in cloud, wind, showers or a period of rain.

Conditions settled down again on Thursday and Friday ahead of a likely Tasman Sea low moving in around this Saturday.
