Warmer than normal Sunday, but cooler than normal night ahead (+2 Maps)

The surge of westerly weather means we have up and down temperatures coming for New Zealand over the next week or two.

Temperatures today will be again above average but the cool down (brief one) is coming today and tonight.

So today looks mild in many places but later today and tonight the cool down comes in and temperatures drop to normal or slightly below normal. Things warm back up again on Monday as northerly quarter winds return – again briefly.
