Another burst of spring wind and rain is coming in – with hot, mostly, dry weather in the east of both islands and daytime highs reaching around 30 degrees for some.
Heavy rain is likely on the West Coast with some spillover into the dry east.
The North Island remains warm and dry, for the most part, until Saturday when a front moves through – followed by a nationwide high on Sunday.
