As expected warm to hot temperatures have hit parts of the country today.
Dunedin Airport is just on 30 degrees, Ashburton very close and other inland centres have also warmed up nicely this afternoon.
Sunny conditions are over 75% of the country and temperatures could climb even more before the afternoon is out.
We’d love to know what it’s like where you are and what temperature it could be.
Thanks so much and enjoy the warmth!

Whangarei is Ok now but the southerly has been fresh all day and it has taken a while to warm up. Nippy cool first thing at about 11 deg.

Invers is offically 26.7 out at the airport and 28 in the city. Some high cloud, (thank goodness), and a breezy warm NW wind.

Absolutely stunning in Wellington today…not a cloud to be seen. Bit of a breeze blowing which should keep things down, but I predict mid to high 20’s for Lower Hutt and low 30’s in Wainui – it is currently 28 in my backyard. 🙂

Yes i agree with Blair, its a stunner in Wellington but i would say high 20’s for everyone in the valleys including Wainui, 29 here in Upper Hutt.
Cheers
