Colder air and weak cold fronts are moving northwards this weekend bringing some wet weather into both main islands, although rainfall totals for most aren’t huge.
But heavier rain is likely along parts of the West Coast, Mt Taranaki, the Tararua Range and the volcanic plateau.
Eastern and northern regions look driest.
There is a FROST risk for Sunday as high pressure rolls in.
Next week kicks off with windier westerlies, more high pressure, then another chance of windier, warmer, winds later in the week.
Have a great weekend!
