VIDEO: Your Weekend forecast & outlook for the rest of February

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We have a cold front moving up the country this weekend and will even bring some wet weather in to drought parts of the upper North Island.

There’s also a much cooler change for southern NZ producing a colder than average Saturday. By Sunday most of NZ will be a little cooler and less humid in the north.

Early next week high pressure rolls in and by mid week warmer, sub-tropical, winds start to appear again.

Love the Popcorn analogy.
Can see this along the hills around Paeroa . In some caes you can see the popcorn popping in a narrow band , maybe 300 metres wide or even less. . Looks like a Tornado but no swirling and no wind. Dry everywhere else.
