An enormous high is centered over NZ, one that stretches from Fiji to almost Antarctic and New Zealand is smack bang in the middle.
This means colder nights but lovely warm afternoons across a large portion of the country for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
However this weekend the weather goes downhill with rain moving northwards over Saturday and Sunday then a weak area of low pressure forms over the North Island for Sunday and Monday.
By Tuesday high pressure is returning from the west. Here’s the latest Easter Weekend forecast from the WeatherWatch.co.nz team.
