We take a closer look at New Zealand’s weather over the coming week as a mild weekend gives way to a colder week next week. Sou’westers will dominate NZ next week bringing snow and rain showers to the south and west and drier weather to the east of both islands.
We track the wind flows, the wet weather and just how much snow is coming.
Meanwhile, a new hurricane has formed with a dramatic increase in power – going from a newly named Category 1 hurricane on Thursday to a major Category 4 hurricane by Friday…and a chance it may be Category 5 (the highest level) by the end of Friday NZT.
