Mild weather for most regions is about to stop as a wintry south to south easterly flow kicks into both NZ & the eastern side of Australia.
Temperatures will drop – especially on Sunday and Monday in the South Island with Canterbury looking quite exposed to several bleak days and windchill below zero.
