NZ’s weather will be unsettled for the rest of July as mid-winter weather takes hold. A powerful high from Australia will dominate in the days ahead, then drifts to northern NZ for Monday, August 1.
The high’s northern placement means more windy westerlies for NZ… which will help keep overnight lows up a little.
Aussie’s weather is fairly settled overall, but a windier, wetter and cooler change will move into the south eastern corner.

If you make a mistake – paint it red! Rather see that than you edit that end bit out. Makes it more real. I’m a big fan of Weatherwatch, one of many of course. Keep up the fantastic work Phil! 🙂

Hi Joe, thanks heaps! Love to keep it as real as possible. Started my career in radio so talking too much comes naturally 🙂 Many thanks for the kind message of support.
