Windy westerlies surge up and down the country this weekend bringing some wet weather from the west.
Eastern areas look warmer than average from Canterbury northwards and mainly dry too.
Next week high pressure rolls through bringing a return to settled weather.
Later next week and next weekend we may have another big low moving in from the Southern Ocean with more windy weather heading right up the country.

To WW. Please look after Phillip Duncan (pay wise), we cannot afford to lose the best weather presenter in the Country to TV broadcasters, who must be on the lookout for a top quality presenter, with the utter rubbish they have.
Keep it up Phil, a hell of a lot of people luv ya.!!
