VIDEO: Windy blast coming for both NZ & Australia

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Another burst of stormy spring weather is coming, starting in Australia this weekend and reaching NZ early next week.

The westerly driven weather will be wintry for a time in TAS and VIC but not so cold in NZ due to it being more westerly. Both nations can expect gale force winds for a time with heaviest rain on the West Coast and other western facing regions.

We have your forecast to Tuesday.

Thanks Phil, a really interesting article. There’s a lot of unknown science still out there about how this will impact NZ’s weather. It’s a really big learning curve for atmospheric scientists and weather forecasters. Cheers for the link.
