Another burst of stormy spring weather is coming, starting in Australia this weekend and reaching NZ early next week.
The westerly driven weather will be wintry for a time in TAS and VIC but not so cold in NZ due to it being more westerly. Both nations can expect gale force winds for a time with heaviest rain on the West Coast and other western facing regions.
We have your forecast to Tuesday.

Thanks Phil, a really interesting article. There’s a lot of unknown science still out there about how this will impact NZ’s weather. It’s a really big learning curve for atmospheric scientists and weather forecasters. Cheers for the link.
