NZ VIDEO: Temperatures to (briefly) lift this weekend

Milder airflows, some with subtropical connections, will spread across parts of NZ over Friday, Saturday and Sunday – ahead of low pressure, rain and some snow next week.

It doesn’t mean everyone has warm weather – but it should be milder in most places than this week has been.

The forecast for next Tuesday still remains messy and still can’t be locked in – we show you the flip flopping models and explain why this does happen in winter in our part of the world (and yes, it’s frustrating!).
