High pressure is crossing northern NZ for Wednesday but by Thursday it’s already sliding out to our north-east and that encourages a milder and windier west to north-west flow moving up the country next few days. Gales may be severe in some areas in the east and inland, while rain will be heavy at times on the West Coast. We break down who gets the wind and rain – and when it arrives and/or eases.
