High pressure grows around NZ over the coming days but on Sunday rain moves into parts of the South Island and by early next week the leftovers make it into the northern NZ. It’s hard to know if the rain will be heavy and widespread enough to bring proper relief – or if it’s just hit and miss and patchy. We take a closer look at this set up. We’re also tracking the high pressure that is moving over the South Island and bringing warmer weather back after the cooler change earlier this week.
