VIDEO: Where are the rainmakers? We take a special look to the second week of March

> From the WeatherWatch archives

For those in drought we take a closer look at rainmakers in the NZ area with a special outlook to March 9th when we have our next best chance of rain.

Nothing is locked in yet, so instead what we’re looking for is where and when we have our best chances for rain – rather than a focus on how dry it is.

We’ll try to do more of these outlooks as we head into March. We also have look at the South Island and lower North Island which over the next 48 hours will be windier.

Much of NZ is also about to get sub-tropical winds – pushing temperatures up even further.
