VIDEO: Wet & windy weather for many – dry/warm in the east

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Windy and warmer weather for NZ while a colder, snowy, change for parts of Australia – welcome to peak spring weather!

NZ has hotter days, milder nights, more humidity and rain in the west and north of NZ in the days ahead. Most places settle down on Monday and Tuesday ahead of the next windy surge on Wednesday (gale force westerlies likely).

Australia has no shortage of unsettled weather, with gales, showers and colder changes all in the mix, especially for the southern half of the nation.

We have the forecast for Halloween in NZ and Australia and the forecast for Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup + an update on the next storm tracking past Australia and then NZ next week.
