A cold front is moving up the country and will cross over the North Island during Monday PM and early Tuesday AM.
It may just have enough energy to help some dry/parched properties.
A cooler SW change comes in behind it bringing a cooler Tuesday.
The rest of the week sees high pressure over the South Island, bringing easterlies the North Island with showers in eastern areas. The upcoming weekend looks similar – a mix of high pressure and showers.
