This long weekend it’s a battle of the air pressure systems for NZ and Australia as lows and highs all move through.
For NZ there will be a sub-tropical area of low pressure to keep an eye on, followed by a deepening Tasman Sea low by Sunday/Monday with Southern Ocean connections. In between these lows is high pressure – so, many regions will get some settled weather and some unsettled weather.
Fairly standard Easter Weekend weather! In Australia a wintry southerly will kick in over the south eastern corner of the country on Eastern Sunday and easing back over Monday.
As always, drill down deeper at RuralWeather.co.nz and WeatherWatch.co.nz.
