A sub-tropical low and a tropical cyclone are both forming in the days ahead and both bring some chances of rain to northern NZ. However, both completely seperate systems have one thing in common – high pressure challenging them from the south.
As both systems try to move into NZ (the sub-tropical low this weekend and the cyclone one week from now) high pressure moving into New Zealand from Tasmania will push back… meaning nothing is locked in with so many moving parts.
