> From the WeatherWatch archives

Two significant storms will pass by NZ this coming week, both bringing severe weather risks to both main islands.

Meanwhile Australia will be caught up with the second storm, brining a wintry blast to VIC and TAS next week.

NZ has severe wind risks, heavy rain, big seas and thunderstorms next week.

However, before next week we have a powerful high pressure zone bringing settled weather (and cold nights) heading into the weekend.
