We have high number 1 moving in this weekend and potentially high number 2 moving in next weekend – but in between there is a chance for rain.
The latest forecast shows a mostly dry few days ahead as this large Australian high finally moves in after slowly building to our west since Monday.
By this coming Monday NZ can expect a much milder sub-tropical flow – then as this high departs there is a chance for some heavy pockets of rain (might be isolated). There may also be a low forming next week for a time, before the next big dry high comes in from Australia.
